Interior and exterior solutions for a school in Balakliya

Name of Works

Emergency restoration works (major repairs) of building A-3 and building “G” (shooting range), with the construction of a civil defense facility, Balakliya Lyceum No. 4

Info

After the devastating consequences of Russian aggression, this school received not only a new look, but also modern protective structures that became an integral part of the architectural design.
Contrasting color accents highlight individual architectural elements of the facade, making the building recognizable and aesthetically pleasing.
Finishing with materials with high wear resistance guarantees the durability of the facades even in a changing climate.
The organization of space around the building provides free access to entrances, shelters and recreation areas.
The light, minimalist interior design creates a feeling of cleanliness, comfort and coziness, and the use of warm colors encourages warm and friendly communication.
The space takes into account the principles of inclusiveness and will satisfy all students regardless of their needs.
An important element is tactile markers on the floor for children with visual impairments. Convenient markers on the walls help students with cognitive or sensory impairments navigate.
The inclusive space of the lyceum is decorated with environmentally friendly, wear-resistant panels that provide sound insulation, minimizing unnecessary noise and creating a calm atmosphere for students. The floor is made of high-quality material that is scratch-resistant and easy to clean.
